While there are many living rooms with a fireplace, there are many without a fireplace. A fireplace is definitely not a prerequisite for a living room. History of Design Thinking
It is a common misconception that design thinking is new. Design has been practiced for ages: monuments, bridges, automobiles, subway systems are all end-products of design processes. Throughout history, good designers have applied a human-centric creative process to build meaningful and effective solutions.
In the early 1900’s husband and wife designers Charles and Ray Eames practiced “learning by doing,” exploring a range of needs and constraints before designing their Eames chairs, which continue to be in production even now, seventy years later. 1960’s dressmaker Jean Muir was well known for her “common sense” approach to clothing design, placing as much emphasis on how her clothes felt to wear as they looked to others. These designers were innovators of their time. Their approaches can be viewed as early examples of design thinking — as they each developed a deep understanding of their users’ lives and unmet needs.
The difference between a living room and a family room has often confused people because both spaces in the house are where people gather. Nowadays, open concept layouts have muddled the issue even more, as the great room takes over. However, formal living rooms and more casual family rooms still exist, with the difference between the rooms lying in the purpose, placement and layout of the room.
Where It Is Located in the House
Living rooms are often in the front of the house, near the entry way, and living rooms are more likely used to entertain guests on more formal occasions. Family rooms, on the other hand, are generally located in the back of the home, near the kitchen and often adjacent to an outdoor space like a deck or patio. Family rooms are more traditionally reserved for the family itself to use
A den or family room is usually less formal than a living room, and designed for the family to use in order to enjoy reading, watching television or other activities. A den, instead of being decorated to impress others, should be decorated the way you want it – in a way that makes you feel the most comfortable and relaxed. This article offers tips and ideas for making your den a special room that is meant specifically for the family.
Many people opt to make their den or family room small and cozy, while others like a large, spacious den with plenty of room. Either way, you will get some great ideas here.

Being a mother is one of the wonderful encounters and similarly testing. She is no not exactly a hero who satisfies all the obligations while never losing her appeal and tastefulness. One significant thing that we as a whole can gain from our mothers is the manner by which to manage each trouble with a wide grin on the face.
