Human Resources Manager – Exterior Designs and Affiliates, Manchester, NH

Responsibilities include:

HUMAN RESOURCES

·         Onboarding of all applicants

·         Posting of all jobs, reviewing incoming applications, forwarding potential applicants to management

·         Respond to inquiries from the Department of Labor (i.e. Unemployment ).

·         Maintain employee files (electronic and paper).

·         Assist with recruiting efforts including attending job fairs as necessary

·         Monthly labor reporting for federal contracts

·         Maintenance of annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) records and coordinate annual plan summary updates

BENEFITS

  • Respond to phone calls or emails from employees who have questions about benefits.

  • Enroll new employees in benefit plans and provide benefits orientation.

  • Organize benefit materials and prepare new hire packages.

  • Distribute materials for benefit orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions.

  • Assist in preparing materials and in presenting benefit plan changes to employees.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding health plan coverage and address these issues with carriers.

  • Respond to employee inquiries about time off policies.

  • Issue annual individual summary of benefits to employees.

  • Maintain employee benefit files and update payroll records.

  • Act as the go-between with the insurance carriers or brokers to assist with escalated health benefits issues.

  • Review billing from benefit providers for accuracy

401 (k)

  • Administer 401(k) enrollments, loans, rollovers and changes.

  • Maintain 401 (k) online portal.

  • Coordinate and participate in the 401 (k) audit process.

COBRA

  • Timely terminate enrollments and notify third party vendor.

  • Receive COBRA continuant monthly premiums and submit it to Accounting for processing.

  • Assist with benefits issues for COBRA continuants.

  • Ensure that participants are paying on a timely basis and that the COBRA benefit does not exceed the legally prescribed limits.

  • Ensure COBRA continuants are notified of Open Enrollment processes and their continuation or termination as COBRA participants.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources

  • Recruiting

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

  • Thorough understanding of benefits, including 401k administration preferred.

  • SHRM Certification

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

FOREMAN – Exterior Designs, Londonderry, NH

Job Description

  • Provide overall, project field supervision and coordination with clients and other sub trades personnel

  • Coordinate and effectively communicate project tasks to all company and sub-contract personnel

  • Ensure conformity with project and company safety policies and procedures for all company and sub-contract personnel

  • Ability to read, interpret and track, blueprints and all other contract drawings and documentation

  • Stay current with project changes and revisions in scope of work

  • Track production demands and material ordering to ensure scheduling goals can be met

  • Coordinate and track Additional Work Orders, personnel, time and materials

  • Responsible for overall project quality control measures

  • Responsible for personal means of transportation to and from the project site

  • Capable of standing/walking for the majority of the work day, including frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, including overhead, along with pushing and pulling.

  • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 65lbs.

  • Capable of understanding and performing all responsibilities of company supervised employees, such a Carpenters, siding installers and laborers.

  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, based on company and project production needs to ensure project goals and requirements are being achieved

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years experience as Foreman/Site Supervisor in Commercial Construction

  • Ability to manage a crew of up to 10 employees/subcontractors

  • Strong Computer Skills

  • Good Communication Skills and detail oriented

  • Must be able to operate forklifts, lulls and lifts

  • OSHA 10 or ability to obtain within 30 days
