Working in the fashion industry after graduating from Bowling Green in 1999, Katie joined IDS in 2003 looking for another way to express her artistry. In 2016 she and Julie took over running the studio from Amy. Moving with ease between commercial and home design, Katie has become a master of her Interior Design craft. Her past knowledge and experience in textiles gives her an edge in the Design Industry. Katie and the IDS team have earned many design awards and accolades including 4 consecutive years as “Best of the Best.” Katie has also dedicated her time to not only transforming spaces but also volunteering with local fundraisers and is currently President of the North East Ohio Chapter of The Interior Design Society.
A prominent member of the design community for over 30 years and a member of ASID, Amy opened The Interior Design Studio in 1999 with a can-do attitude and a passion for Interior Design. As Design Director she enjoys keeping up with the current products and trends so she can provide her clients with the latest and freshest designs. Amy works hard to make sure that the design reflects her customer’s personalities, desires and dreams.
“We’re not here to make your house our design. At the end of the day, we want you to love it, and we’ll work with you to make sure that happens.”
